Buddy White

A graduate of Baylor University (where he was a founding member of Kappa Omega Tau fraternity), Buddy has been a part of the Grand Prairie real estate community since 1970. He is a Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI) and a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a designation earned by fewer than 6% of the nation's Realtors. He is also a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and holds their Residential Management Professional designation. An active member of his community, Buddy served for six years on the Board of Trustees for the Grand Prairie ISD, and for more than 20 years on the Grand Prairie YMCA Board of Directors. He was named Realtor of the Year by the Grand Prairie Board of Realtors, and twice served that organization as president. He was a founder and fifteen-year participant in Grand Prairie's Project Graduation, and a volunteer for the country's first-ever Teen Court. He received Honorary Life Memberships in the State and National PTA's for work with young people, and is an active member of First United Methodist Church. He was honored to be Grand Prairie's Citizen of the Year in 1987, and winner of the Zeus Award as Businessman of the Year in 1997. He was presented the Community Builders award by the Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas, and received the Legion of Honor award from Demolay. His personal and company standard is to support all positive community projects as fully as possible. For pleasure, Buddy enjoys early-morning racquetball, a "habit" of some 30 years, and traveling. The most fun of all, in his opinion, is floating the river with his four grandkids (Austin, Christian, Charlie and Nikki) at the family's retreat on the Guadalupe outside of New Braunfels. Part of the joy of his life remains in this career that has been so good to him. Working with this two sons and his wife is rewarding, and has worked well for all of them. He has tried to build his business with service, integrity and a caring attitude, and the reward is that his past clients sent THEIR friends and family to work with him! His service is simple -- you tell him your expectations and particular goals, and he helps you achieve them!
