My Background
A graduate of Baylor University, I have been a part of the Dallas-Fort Worth area real estate world for more than thirty years. I have pursued my career in different settings, including large corporate franchised operations and operating my own agency, which earned the community's Small Business of the Year award and was named a national semi-finalist for the Dun and Bradstreet "Best of the Best" award! At present, I work with my two sons, Randy and Stacy, in White and Associates Real Estate Services, which offers over fifty years of combined experience in sales, investment counseling, property management, and renovations.
My Professional Accomplishments
Through the years, I have continued to expand my knowledge of the real estate field through educational opportunities. I am a Graduate of the Realtors Institute and a Certified Residential Specialist, a designation earned by fewer than 6% of all real estate associates in the United States. I am a consistent multi-million dollar producer and for five consecutive years earned the prestigious Century 21 CENTURION award for outstanding production. I have been named both Realtor of the Year and Salesman of the Year by my local Board of Realtors and served that organization as President and in numerous other positions. I am proud to have been named a Century 21 recognized Quality Service associate, and earned the first annual Quality Service award for the fourth largest Century 21 company in the nation.
My Community Service Background
As a long time Grand Prairie resident, it has been important to me to participate in service to my community. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Grand Prairie YMCA, as I have for the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce. I was an organizer and scholarship administrator for the local Project Graduation, working in its parties for fifteen years, and have been a volunteer for the Grand Prairie Teen Court. I was named Grand Prairie's Citizen of the Year in 1987. I served for six years as a member of the Grand Prairie ISD Board of Trustees, and in 1997 was awarded the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce ZEUS award as Business Man of the Year.
Even after thirty-plus years in the business, my enthusiasm for what I do remains high--I enjoy my work and I am committed to excellence in service. I pride myself on being straightforward and honest in all my dealings. I have the administrative support of my wife, Judy, who is also a licensed Broker, and she helps me maintain contact and manage the many details of each transaction. In addition to real estate sales, we have operated our own property management firm for more than thirty years. Our oldest son, Randy, adds special expertise in construction and renovation to his skills in real estate sales and investing. Stacy, our younger son, serves as a showing agent and detail person while he completed his licensing requirements. Both are valued members of our team!
