LEASING A HOME? Don't be fooled by these scams! (1) Don't purchase a list from a leasing "service" with homes they claim to be available for lease -- most are outdated, and most of the listed homes already leased! You can get the same information FREE by going to MLS at the above link and searching for lease properties -- or see our "Rentals Available" page and call about our company inventory! (2) Don't fall for a CraigsList lease ad that seems too good to be true. Scammers often "hijack"legitimate ads, then repost them at a much lower price, without having access or authority to lease the home. They thrive on "leasing" the home to multiple prospects and collecting up-front deposits before they disappear with the money! Always deal with a legitimate, professional company whose reputation you can verify! |
